As Colour Director at Charles Worthington, Carolyn Newman heads up the Colour Zone at the flagship salon in Percy Street, London. Carolyn will celebrate 30 years as a hairdresser this year, with 20 of these spent working alongside Charles Worthington.
Her time spent treating clients to professional hair colour over the years has shaped Carolyn’s refreshingly personal approach. Her unique Colour Clinic consultation combines her expertise with an understanding of how client’s understand and communicate colour for beautiful results.
Her role as Colour Director for Charles Worthington involves developing the colour training for stylists across all salons, pioneering new colouring techniques and contributing her technical expertise in the development and production of new Charles Worthington products.
She is not only an international ambassador for both Charles Worthington and L’Oréal Professionnel, but also a regular contributor to titles such as Vogue, Marie Claire, InStyle and Glamour with quotes, imagery, makeovers and tips. She is also regularly appears on ITV’s This Morning to share her colour skills with the nation.
