As seen on the catwalk at London fashion designer, Erdem, the east-meets-west Kami Knot is a fantastic variation on the ponytail. Part knot, part pony, the twisted 20s style starts from a sleek parting with the hair pulled back into a ponytail. Divided into two and tied in a knot, one end is tucked under and the other left messily, yet artfully arranged for a lived-in yet styled look.

Prep hair with Front Row Rough and Tousled Salt Spray to take the softness out of clean hair, add guts and give your hair more texture to work with. Apply liberally to mid lengths and ends, while blasting hair with a hairdryer to dry in the product.
Create a clean centre parting using the Charles Worthington Conditioning Brush and secure your hair into a low ponytail. Let your hair's natural texture show with strands falling softly at the sides.

Split the ponytail into two. Twist these sections and tie into a knot.
Wrap the sections around in a bun shape and secure using grips, leaving one end at the base of the knot free. Spray with Front Row Forever Lasting Hairspray to set.

Spritz Front Row Mirror Dazzle Shine Spray on the blunt end to add gloss and control frizz.
